South Carolina has a long list of dignitaries that includes Lauren Caitlin Upton (Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant contestant), Board of Education Chair, Kristin Maguire, Governor (and avid Appalachian hiker), Mark Sanford and now Joe “the hater not a debater” Wilson or the “screamer not the dreamer” as others have dubbed him. I did enjoy him cut and running through his apology, which only goes to show that he stands for nothing. He is just another good old boy where in the morning these married men preach to you that there should be prayer in our schools and in the evening they are on their cell phones setting up a date with their other women on the side, hypocrisy has been bred in. I am not surprised that he felt compel to yell like he was at some Friday night game. So long Joey, you too will be seeing the unemployment lines.

This post got me thinking about inflation.

After seeing Zimbabwe citizens forced to pan for gold since their money has become worthless because of hyperinflation caused by their country's printing of currency, it's frightening to think if this can happen in the US and in Europe.

Glenn Beck already did his Al Gore impression on the hockey stick--but this time on hyperinflation caused by bailouts.

Great commentary on the Federal Reserve. Have you listened to any of the lectures by Dr. Griffin about the Creature from Jekyll Island? Look it up on Google Videos. It will shine light on why the Fed was set up in the first place and why it only cares about bailing out it's buddies on Wall Street. Thanks for the info!

I agree that the war with Iraq was purely for the personal gain of Bush, Cheney and their cohorts and under the guise of "national security" they have trashed the US Constitution, but they couldn't have gotten away with any of their shenanigans without the consent of Congress...we all know that silence and/or a failure to act is to imply consent. It will be interesting to see whether the Obama administration brings charees against the Bush Administration. What would be even better would be to see some of our "allies" band together and bring them before the World Court as war criminals...

Hello Tetrahedron:
Your blog sounds interesting...I agree that under this present administration the American people have lost the ability to hold their government accountable. What pisses me off the most is Nancy Pelosi's refusal to allow the Senate to impeach Bush. He's nothing short of a criminal, and a hyprocritical one at that. His audacity at chastising Russia for "invading a sovereign nation" is outrageous! Why hasn't the media jumped all over this? The Bill of Rights gives us the right to criticize the government without repercussions but you wouldn't think so, what with the lack of news stories regarding his comments. Even worse, the American people have been silent throughout this administration's hijacking of the constitution...whatever happened to protests in the street, marches, etc? Have we resorted to being a nation who keeps its head in the sand or do we believe we have no influence over what our government does?
